Founded by a group of film activists of Bangladeshi origin, the Toronto Film Forum is a Bangladeshi film lovers group in Toronto, Canada. The group organizes film, short film, documentary events for the Bangladeshi film lovers and cultural enthusiasts. Toronto Film Forum also honors personalities who has helped flourish Bangladeshi film culture home and abroad. The group does not have any permanent office or location to meet but meet in locations where there is a significant presence and interest on Bangladeshi culture related issues.
Toronto Film Forum do the following:
organizes film events
celebrates Bangla and Bangladeshi films
extends Bangladeshi film related interest abroad
honors film makers of Bangladeshi origin and/or interest in Bangladesh
organizes discussion, talk events etc
