Srishti Academy of Performing Arts is a not-for-profit cultural organization of Bangladeshi community in Middlesex, New Jersey. Founded in 2007, the organization is dedicated to teach Indian classical and Bangladeshi folk dance to Bangladeshi kids and nurture the youth talent in New Jersey.
The primary aims of Srishti Academy of Performing Arts are:
to enrich new generation of Bangladeshi-American kids with rich dancing culture of Indian sub-continent
to preserve and promote classical and fold dance from Bangladeshi and the Indian sub-continent
to serve as an educational and cultural resource to the young talents
to create a platform to educate, exhibit and share knowledge of dance and music
to foster cultural exchange between Bangladeshi, Indian and mainstream US culture
to participate in various social and cultural events, etc.
