Founded in 2012, Sammilito Barisal Bivaghvashi USA, Inc. (People of United Barisal Division USA/সমà§à¦®à¦¿à¦²à¦¿à¦¤ বরিশাল বিà¦à¦¾à¦à¦¬à¦¾à¦¸à§ à¦à¦à¦à¦¸à¦) is an association of Bangladeshi immigrants and expatriates living in the USA from Barisal Division of Bangladesh. This community organization represent people of Barisal district of Bangladesh. This organization is registered with State of New York (Reg. No 4294331) as an not-foo-profit social organization. The association is based in New York City.
The aim of Sammilito Barisal Bivaghvashi USA:
build a network of people of Barisal division (Barisal, Barguna, Bhola, Jhalokati, Patuakhali, Pirojpur)
organize various social activities for members
organize reception of celebrity people from Barisal division while they visit the USA
help each other to develop personal and family lives
integrate into the American society
active in social and humanitarian causes both in USA and Bangladesh
celebrate Bangladeshi culture and heritage
pass on the Bangladeshi tradition to the next generations of Bangladeshi-Americans, etc.
