Published from Toronto since 2014, the Probashi Kantho is Bangla news magazine for Bangladeshi community in Canada. It is printed monthly in Bangla, available in Bangladeshi business locations and sold for 50 cents. Probashi Kantho maintains an online presence and contents can be read free. The publication is not available to download. The focus of the magazine is primarily news and views of Canada and Bangladeshi-Canadians. The magazine emphasizes less on politics, more on community news, interview, Canada news, recreation, health, tech, travel, cooking, decoration, literature, sports, fashion related issue etc.
The publication receives financial support of the Government of Canada through the Canadian Periodical Fund of the Department of Canadian Heritage.
