Om Shakti Mandir or Om Shakti Temple is a non-profit Hindu religious organization, actively fulfilling the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the Hindu community of the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Regular Puja is held every day. The Mandir organizes several cultural functions every year and celebrates all major Hindu festivals including Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Kartik Puja, Ganesh Puja, and Janmashtami, and supports other cultural events in the area.
Om Shakti Mandir is to perform religious rites, congregate to worship and hold religious and cultural festivals throughout the year. The Mandir will also hold discussions on Hindu religion and moral philosophy with a view to familiarize our posterity with the teachings and ethical value system of Hinduism.
