New York Gopalgonj Society, Inc. (also spelled New York Gopalganj Society) is an association of Bangladeshi community living residing in New York and come from Gopalganj district of Bangladesh. The association was founded to make connection among people of Gopalgonj who are living in New York. The organization is active in arranging social and cultural events. It organizes picnic, Iftar, music night and other events for its members and for all Bangladeshi community.
New York Gopalgonj Society aims to
create social, cultural and religious bond among the members of Gopalgonj Society
motivate the members to work for the welfare of the Gopalgonj community
encourage members to take better participation in the developing community
develop better understanding among the members about the issues and needs
help all communities in their need and support humanitarian efforts, etc.
New York Gopalgonj Society also celebrates Bangladeshi tradition and heritage by observing various national events of Bangladesh.
