Masjid Al-Ferdous, also known as the Paterson Islamic Mission, is a Bangladeshi mosque in New Jersey. Founded in 1997, the mosque follows Sunni tradition. The founders recognized a need for a masjid based on an influx of immigrants in the first and second wards of Paterson. The masjid started with a small number of people, but over the years, the number of people attending the Masjid increased. Masjid Al-Ferdous is rooted strongly with the Bangladeshi Muslim and the Muslim community of all backgrounds. Its service is open to all. Masjid Al-Ferdous offers prayer services five times a day, special prayer on Fridays, and annual festival prayers.
