Manchester Bangladeshi Women’s Organization was founded in 1989 to advice, information and support for Bangladeshi women in Manchester area. The association generally helps women with housing, health, education, training, employment, immigration, nationality and other areas. Information, advice and support to women of any ethnicity and of any age. The organization is also called Ananna.
Manchester Bangladeshi Women’s Organization offers one-and-one or group assistance by organizing following activities:
Young women’s project
Mother and toddler group
Bangla-English, English-Bangla translation services
English as a second language classes
Yoga, exercise, aromatherapy and walking group
Mental health project with Mental Health Worker
General health information session
Business Hours
Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for advice and drop-in (no appointment necessary)
