Long Island Muslim Society (Long Island Muslim Center) is an organization of Bangladeshi Muslim community in East Meadow, Long Island, New York. The society was founded in 1989 mostly by Bangladeshi professionals living in Long Island as a not-for-profit organization. Long Island Muslim Society offers Islamic services such as daily prayer, children’s religious education, etc. The prime aim of the Long Island Muslim Society is to act as educational and charitable platform for all Muslim community.
The society is a membership based organization. Any legal resident or US citizen can apply for a life membership by paying a non-refundable one time fee of $2500.00. Honorary membership is given by the executive committee to person who has provided extraordinary service to Islam.
Objectives of Long Island Muslim Society:
To promote Islamic values among practicing Muslims
To participate in inter-faith dialog with other religious communities
To build partnership with local churches, synagogues, interfaith organizations

Monetary donation to refugees
Financial aid Workshop for senior citizens
