Jahangirnagar Alumni Association of America (JAAA) is the alumni of Jahangirnagar University (JU) students of Bangladesh who are currently living and working in the USA. The association is non-political and not-for-profit. The aim of the group is to make a close network, help each other and unite all ex-students of Jahangirnagar University. The association celebrates Bangladeshi national and cultural events as well as organizes discussions, cultural programs, picnics, religious events, etc.
The general objectives of the organization are to
– promote the welfare of members of the alumni
– organize alumni conventions
– strengthen ties with Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh
– maintain liaison with  Jahangirnagar University alumni associations in other countries, etc.
At present, Jahangirnagar Alumni Association of America (JAAA) is informal and has no official tie with its alma mater, Jahangirnagar University of Bangladesh.
