Bishwho Shahitto Kendro USA

Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, USA (বিশ্বসাহিত্য কেন্দ্র/World Literature Center) – the US branch of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro of Bangladesh – promotes book reading habits among Bangladeshi community in USA. The center also nurture and encourage progressive ideas among Bangladeshi people. Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed founded the center in Bangladesh in 1978. The Center’s US branch was established in 2012.
The center’s larger aim is to
help create enlightened human beings,
inspire new generation of Bangladeshis to do good things for their fellow beings,
to mitigate their sufferings,
to help them become responsible citizens.
Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, USA organizes seminars, cultures events and sells Bangla books of the center in New York.
