Bangladeshi Community Association of Saskatchewan (BCAS) is dedicated for providing services for the Bangladeshis living in the Saskatoon and surroundings area of Canada. However, the association welcomes everyone who are interested in Bangladesh as well as about Saskatoon. It is a non-for-profit, non-political, social organization. Bangladeshi Community Association of Saskatchewan aims to build to common thread that binds all Bangladeshis by helping each other, observing cultural events together, uphold family values. The organization acts as a platform for networking, understanding and co-operation among community members. The association is run by elected officials and with member’s consent.
Activities of BCAS include cultural activities, celebration of Bangladeshi national events, folk festivals, health information sessions, help the poor of Bangladesh and natural disaster victims, participate in Canada’s cultural festival to represent Bangladesh etc.
