Bangladeshi-American Youth Community Forum is a forum made for youth, by the youth. It was founded in 2012. The Forum focuses on different issues of the Bangladeshi-American Community living in the United States. The focus primarily on “listening” to social, cultural, academic, health and other issues from community leaders and individuals.
Forum’s speakers and attendees include community members, community leaders, parents, individuals in academics, health professionals and anyone who are interested to contribute.
The mission of Bangladeshi-American Youth Community Forum is to promote educational opportunities, coordinating the services, making connections within ourselves and other ethnic groups, organizing young people in the community to become involved, share resources and information, arranging monthly seminars and information sessions by local or nationally renowned individuals, and providing support to newly arrived immigrants.
