Started in 2012, Bangladeshi-American Professional & Academic Network (BAPAN) is an online forum of Bangladeshi students, scholars, researchers and professionals in different universities and industries of the United States. BAPAN wants to create a network among Bangladeshis living and working in different states and cities in USA. The forum also helps its member to get education, work, life related information through workshop, seminars, video talks, interview, website etc.
BAPAN Library is a collection of articles and YouTube video interviews of Bangladeshi expatriate community in academic and professional field. The library has three categories:
BAPAN Talk – Video interview of Bangladeshi academics and professionals in USA
BAPAN Presentation – Video presentation on relevant issues useful to Bangladeshi community
BAPAN Article – Written article to inspire young Bangladeshi graduates about their prospects in USA
Members of Bangladeshi-American Professional & Academic Network use Facebook group, Facebook page and YouTube channel to communicate and disseminate information with each other. The forum also maintains a database of it members on its website.
Bangladeshi-American Professional & Academic Network uses Bangla as its primary language because it has target audience in mainland Bangladesh.
