Bangladesh Association of Montreal is an organization of Bangladeshi community living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The association was founded in 1998. The prime aim of the Bangladesh Association of Montreal is to provide social and cultural entertainment to Bangladeshi immigrant community in Montreal. The organization arranges Bangladeshi national festivals, such as Bangla New Year, Ekushey February, Bangladesh Independence Day, Bangladesh Victory Day, etc. It also organizes religious festivities. The association gets its media exposure from Desh Barta Media, Canada.
The association is a not-for-profit organization. Most of its funding comes from voluntary contribution from members, well wishers, business community, and earning from cultural activities.
