Australian Institution for Sustainable Development (AISD) was founded by Dr. S. M. Zobaidul Kabir – a Bangladeshi expatriate living in Australia. The principle aim of AISD is to bring academic leaders around the world together to achieve and to build sufficient knowledge tier for global sustainable development. Founded in 2014 the AISD is a not-for-profit organization and registered in New South Wales with ACN # 92 169 513 302.
Other aims of Australian Institution for Sustainable Development (AISD) are
to develop and conduct research on sustainable development
to create a knowledge bank on sustainable development that is accessible to all
to emphasis on need for maintaining a good ecosystems for future generations
to build a network of sustainable development researchers, academics, scholars
to inform people how to balance between developing standard of life and preserving nature
to train future academic leaders on sustainable development
to provide supports to PhD students and young researchers to publish quality research papers, etc.
