American Press Club of Bangladesh Origin is an organization of Bangladeshi journalists, reporters, editors working in Bangladeshi local ethnic news papers in New York City. The organization was founded in 2012 to unite the journalists of Bangladeshi diaspora and provide them a platform. The organization is run by a committee of 31 members and they are elected every four years.
Aims of American Press Club of Bangladesh Origin:
Provide Bangladeshi journalists a platform to share information
Provide a space to discuss common and community interest
Provide an opportunity to develop better journalistic practices
Help members employed and be productive
