American Bangladeshi Business Alliance (ABBA) is an association of Bangladeshi businesses in New York, USA. The alliance was created in 2015 to network and lobby Bangladesh Government to provide special access and privileges for Bangladeshi diaspora living in USA. The special benefits are required if and when the Bangladeshi businesses and investors want to invest and expand their businesses in Bangladesh. American Bangladeshi Business Alliance was created by the Bangladeshi business and entrepreneur community living in New York City also to keep a strong tie among themselves, share information and common interests, exchange ideas, build an united front, cooperate with each other to grow together. The organization campaigns with Bangladeshi government, as well as with the elected representatives in the USA to advance its goal.
Many Bangladeshi businesses such as driving schools, grocery stores, discount stores, tax filing enterprises, Bangla newspapers, medical offices, not-for-profit organizations, etc. are associate with the alliances. The organization is a membership based organization.
