Jhenaidah Zila Society, USA (formerly known as Jhenaidah District Development Organization, USA/à¦à¦¿à¦¨à¦¾à¦à¦¦à¦¹ à¦à§à¦²à¦¾ à¦à¦¨à§à¦¨à§à¦¨ সà¦à¦¸à§à¦¥à¦¾, à¦à¦à¦à¦¸à¦) is an organization of Bangladeshi community who came to USA from the Jhenaidah district of Bangladesh. Jhenaidah is located in southwestern Bangladesh. The principal aim of Jhenaidah Zila Society, USA is to maintain a network of friendship among its members. By organizing social events, cultural programs, outdoor activities the organization keep a close tie with each other. The organization is run by an elected committee where all members mostly work as volunteers. Funding comes from personal donation, membership fee, business contribution and special event fee etc.
The association has no formal brick and mortar office space. Most of the communication as done via phone, email, poster and newspaper advertisement. There might be other organizations with similar names.
