Triangle Bangladesh Society of North Carolina (TBSNC) is a community organization serving interests of the Bangladeshi community in the greater Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and surrounding areas. The scope of the organization is to serve the greater interests of the community, which include but are not limited to the following:
help Bangladeshi people back home through organized fundraising during critical moments such as natural disasters
help poor people or help anybody in need as a group
keep children engaged with Bangladeshi culture and heritage so that they can truly understand and represent Bangladesh in the future. Initiate supportive and educational programs
address Bangladeshi community concerns to the state or federal governments with collective voice
represent a united Bangladeshi community in all kinds of events organized by the community or state and federal diversity programs, and other social events
collectively organize programs to welcome distinguished guests or performers to enhance social engagement
Triangle Bangladesh Society of North Carolina has an Executive Council (EC) which is elected for a two-year term. The current EC consists of five members:
